The electronic control unit uses a digital signal processor (DSP) based microcontroller to implement the software-controlled system. A separate EEPROM memory is used for storing unique parameters for each unit.
The unit applies a three-dimensional mapping with multiple inputs, including load, to determine the appropriate gas flow for the engine. The profile of the mapping is re-shaped to suit each vehicle.
The unit is tuned specifically to avoid excessive gas flow and has many safety features built in. This will immediately shut off the LPG in the event of any abnormal signals, to prevent any kind of engine damage occurring.

Installation usually takes 3/4 days depending on the vehicle and tank application. The system incorporates many safety features which are all designed to ensure no detrimental effects on the manufacturer's engine.
Every vehicle to be converted is inspected by our engineers prior to approval. The size and fitting point of the system and LPG tanks are agreed with the customer, prior to installation. Our mantra of "Service First" is our primary driver when fitting the ADGas LPG system, so that you are fully involved with the whole process. As stated elsewhere in this website our engineers are LPGA APPROVED and our staff are amongst some of the most respected in the industry. We have workshops throughout the North of England and are currently investigating further sites in the South. However this is a lengthy task for us as we
are very meticulous in our selection process. As part of our service to you, all vehicles to be converted can be collected and returned to you at pre-agreed times to suit both parties. As with all ADGas staff, our drivers and engineers are fully insured for all tasks.
Our system comes with a 3 year warranty which is designed to work alongside the vehicle's manufacturer's warranty if applicable or simply on its own on older vehicles.
