ADGAS LPG Diesel Induction System
AD GAS LPG Induction Diesel System
What is ADGas - Design and Safety

Innovative Design
Flexibility in the Dual Phase Induction (DPI) control module design simultaneously delivers:

  • Reduced emissions
  • Improved fuel efficiency
  • System adaptability
  • Improved driveability

Reduced Emissions
DPI works well on new (computerised) and older (mechanical) engines whether they be turbocharged, or naturally aspirated. The DPI control module is effective across Diesel Vehicles that travel in both city bound, and long haul environments. Stationary Diesel Generators also enjoy large reductions in emissions. Particulates generally all but disappear, and other Greenhouse Gasses are substantially reduced.

Improved Fuel Efficiency
Transport operators gain improved fuel efficiency through the DPI module managing the flow of LPG into the intake air stream. This results in improved combustion that requires less Diesel to produce the specified horsepower / torque. To date, we have seen reductions in diesel consumed of between 10% and 25%.

System Adaptability
The DPI control module has the flexibility to be adapted to Diesel engines of all sizes and applications.

Improved Driveability

Vehicle driveability is increased and more importantly driver fatigue is decreased. This is because the driver is faced with fewer gear changes, due to the better engine torque. The 'brains' behind the system is the DPI control module that constantly monitors the flow of gas and only inducts enough LPG to make the engine work at it's most effective. We do not overgas our clients' vehicles, which would cause engines to fail. The ADGas system has the ability to be remotely monitored by a GSM modem and, also, has a full data logging capability.

Installation
ADGas prides itself on the quality of the System and correct installation enables its successful operation. All tanks and fittings comply with EU standards. An Installation Procedures Manual acts as the primary reference material for all engine installations. Second level technical support is also on hand remotely to give advice and guidance.

Operation
The DPI control module incorporates a sophisticated, electronic control system, which monitors the gas flow during operation. In addition, the DPI module can monitor critical data channels that include:

  • Ambient air temperature which regulates flow of gas to the engine
  • Exhaust temperature for engine protection
  • Gas supply pressure for ensuring positive supply of gas
  • Water temperature for engine safety
  • Oil pressure for engine safety
  • Oxygen sensor which controls flow of gas to engine
  • Foot brake - gas control
  • Exhaust brake - gas control
  • Cruise control (set and resume) - gas control
  • The controller logs 'alarms' when the engine works outside defined parameters, and can be reprogrammed or tuned remotely.
